About

Giovanni Zora is an architectural designer based in Metro Detroit. He graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture, and in 2023 he was awarded the Michigan Architectural Foundation’s Katherine and John Banicki Scholarship in recognition of his student leadership and community involvement. Giovanni Architects is a single-person design studio focused on residential and commercial architecture, with custom homes, additions, renovations, and site planning at its center.

How We Work

Every project starts with listening: how you live, how you move through a space, and how you gather with the people you love. From there the work moves through pre-design and programming, schematic design, and construction documents, with interior design, space planning, and 3D renderings along the way so you can see a home before it is built.

After years of working alongside custom home builders, the studio also helps carry a project through construction by coordinating sub-contractors, managing the work, and estimating cost. You work with Giovanni directly, from the first conversation to the final detail.
